Sonu Sood Announces Helpline For Migrants, Gets Bombarded With Messages From People Seeking Help

Sonu Sood has been ruling headlines for the past couple of weeks for all the good work done by the actor. From arranging buses for the migrants to get home to providing food to the needy, Sonu Sood has earned a whole lot of love on social media. The actor has now launched a toll-free helpline for home-bound migrants. On May 25, the 46-year-old actor tweeted the helpline number-18001213711-along with a message in Hindi, asking migrants to get in touch with him and share details of their location and their destination. Sonu Sood's new initiative won hearts on Twitter, including a shout out from Ajay Devgn. Soon after the actor announced the helpline number, he was bombarded with messages. He recently shared the video of the same and apologised for the missed ones. Recently, star Chef Vikas Khanna had also dedicated a food dish in the name of the actor’s native place, MOGA for all the exemplary work undertaken by Sood. In April, Sonu Sood had offered his hotel in Mumbai for healthcare professionals to stay in. The number of COVID-19 cases in Maharashtra has reached 54758 with 1792 deaths being reported.
