The Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) submitted before the Supreme Court that it had decided to cancel the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams that were scheduled to be held from July 1. The decision was taken after the governments of Delhi, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu had conveyed their inability to conduct examinations due to the huge number of coronavirus cases in their respective states.
