Sanjay Dutt Diagnosed With Stage 3 Lung Cancer, To Fly To The U.S. For Immediate Treatment

Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt recently suffered a health scare when he was admitted to Lilavati hospital after he complained of breathlessness. He was discharged on August 10. However, on August 11, the actor announced that he would be taking a break from work commitment for his medical treatment. Soon after, reports surfaced that Sanjay Dutt has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Lung Cancer and the actor has been asked to immediately seek medical attention. As per reports, the 61-year-old actor will be flying to the USA for treatment. As soon as the news broke, wishes started pouring in for the actor’s speedy recovery. Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh, who is a cancer survivor himself, took to Twitter and wrote a powerful message for Dutt. Several fans took to twitter and wished their beloved ‘Sanju Baba’ a speedy recovery. Sanjay Dutt's wife Maanayata and the couple's twins Shahraan & Iqra are reportedly in Dubai from before the lockdown. Trishala Dutt, Sanjay Dutt's daughter with former wife Richa Sharma, lives in New York. Sanjay Dutt's mother Nargis suffered from pancreatic cancer and breathed her last, barely days before Sanjay debuted with Rocky in 1981. Sanjay Dutt’s upcoming films include Sadak 2, Torbaaz and KGF: Chapter 2.
