‘I'm sorry’, says PAS MP over Bible remarks

PAS's Pasir Puteh MP Nik Muhammad Zawawi Salleh has apologised to Christians and retracted his remarks about the Bible.

Zawawi sparked controversy when he alleged in the Dewan Rakyat that Biblical injunctions about drinking alcohol had been “distorted or altered”, and that the Bible had formerly outlawed the consumption of alcohol.
