While condemning recent attacks in the cities of Paris and Nice, Indonesian President Joko Widodo has also condemned his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron for his response to the violence. In a news conference on October 31, 2020, Widodo said Macron “insulted Islam and hurt the feelings of Muslims around the world”.
