A pair of shoes worth Rs. 1 lac was stolen from the masjid near Ganga Ram hospital. The owner of the shoes, Sheraz Bashir reported it to the police on 17th November but the report was accepted today after so many days. Sheraz was wearing those expensive shoes because he later had to attend a wedding. Before going to the wedding, he had an urgent meeting with his teacher due to upcoming exams. He and his teacher went to the masjid for namaz, and Sheraz saw a suspicious man there. Sheraz stated that he was already anticipating that his shoes will get stolen. His message to the police is to find the thief and set an example so that people stop stealing shoes from mosques, causing so much distress to the victims.
