A man named Rana Waqar from Multan took the initiative of starting langar (food drive) in order to feed the poor people. This langar started 10 years ago and provides a meal for the poor people daily after Asr prayer. The langar feeds up to 300 people regularly. Being a Muslim it is our combined duty to do anything we can for the less privileged, according to Waqar. There are more people who help and contribute in this food drive and Waqar says he alone cannot take the credit.
