Under the PTI government, firm actions have been taken to bring every Pakistani under the net shell of paying proper taxes to strengthen Pakistan's economy. The Federal Board Of Revenue has announced to submit CNIC copy or NTN on shopping over PKR 50,000 in Pakistan. According to FBR new law, a female purchaser can use her husband's or father's computer national identity card. The rule would not be implemented on any citizen consuming anything less than RS 50,000. The main purpose of this initiative is to have a documented record of each business-to-business transaction. In the previous government, the former finance minister of Pakistan Mr. Ishaq Dar also tried to execute the national tax number (NTN) rules but had to reverse his decision due to some political circumstances.
