Breaking his own previous record on early Sunday (November 1) evening, Kings XI Punjab captain KL Rahul became the leading run-getter in a single season of the Indian Premier League for KXIP. He achieved the feat during the IPL 2020 game against Chennai Super Kings at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. It was in the fifth over of the game when Rahul surpassed his own tally with consecutive boundaries off Shardul Thakur - one flicked behind square leg and the other lobed over the ring at third man off the outside edge.


किंग्स इलेवन पंजाब के कप्तान केएल राहुल ने अपना ही एक बड़ा रिकॉर्ड तोड़ दिया है. आईपीएल के एक सीजन में केएल राहुल के नाम अब 670 रन हो गए हैं. जबकि इनका पिछ्ला रिकॉर्ड 659 रनों का था जो आईपीएल 2018 के सीजन में केएल राहुल ने बनाए थे. अब अपने ही पुराने रिकॉर्ड को केएल राहुल ने तोड़ दिया है. 14 मैचों में बार नाबाद रहते हुए स्टाइलिश बल्लेबाज केएल राहुल ने 670 रन ठोके. इस दौरान उनके बल्ले से पांच अर्धशतक और एक शतक जो आरसीबी के खिलाफ आया था. इतना ही नहीं, भारत की तरफ आईपीएल की एक पारी में सर्वाधिक व्यक्तिगत स्कोर बनाने का रिकॉर्ड भी अब केएल राहुल के ही नाम है. आरसीबी के खिलाफ इस सीजन केएल राहुल ने अपने आईपीएल करियर का दूसरा शतक लगाया था.
