Former West Indies legend Brian Lara, who has been appearing as an expert for host broadcaster Star Sports, revealed what he thinks is the main reason behind CSK’s poor show this season. “I think they (CSK) have got a lot of older players. There are not any young players coming through the line-up. You look at it. Even their overseas players, they have been around for a long time. So, they have backed experience over youth, and this has really turned upside down for them. It’s just an unbelievable season so far,” Lara said while speaking on Star Sports Select Dugout.


महान बल्लेबाज ब्रायन लारा ने एमएस धोनी को लेकर बड़ा बयान दिया है. ब्रायन लारा ने चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स की नाकामियों को उजागर किया है. और बताया कि आखिर कहाँ इस सीजन चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स से गलती हुई है. ब्रायन लारा ने साफ़ तौर पर चेन्नई की नाकामयाबी का ठीकरा चेन्नई के मैनेजमेंट के उपर फोड़ा है और कहा है कि इस टीम में मुझे युवा खिलाड़ी नजर ही नहीं आते हैं. वेस्टइंडीज के महान बल्लेबाज ब्रायन लारा ने कहा कि “चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स टीम में काफी उम्रदराज खिलाड़ी हैं. युवा खिलाड़ी दिखते ही नहीं. विदेशी खिलाड़ी भी लंबे समय से खेल रहे हैं. इस टीम ने अनुभव को युवाओं पर तरजीह दी लेकिन वो खराब प्रदर्शन का कारण रहा.” गौरतलब है कि इस सीजन चेन्नई की टीम हमेशा अनुभवी खिलाड़ी को ही बैक करते रह गए.
