Arvind Kejriwal Allows RT-PCR COVID-19 Tests Without Prescription In Delhi, Vaccine ‘Sputnik V To Be Tested In India, Says Russian Media

A person suspected of having the coronavirus disease in Delhi will not have to show a doctor’s prescription to get tested, chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said on September 8. Kejriwal made the announcement on Twitter after the Delhi high court ruling. Delhi HC ruled that doctor’s prescription is not mandatory for those opting voluntarily for reverse transcription-polymerase chain reactio (RT-PCR) test to detect the viral contagion as the fears of a second peak in the city loom large.
