Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke at length at his party's headquarters in New Delhi after leading the NDA to a resounding victory in the Lok Sabha elections of 2019. In his victory speech, Modi said the NDA tally of over 350 seats was the biggest event in the history of democracy not just in India but worldwide. He said the BJP would remain committed to the Constitution and the spirit of federalism.
