Cyclone Vayu Develops in Arabian Sea, IMD Issues Severe Cyclonic Storm Warning

India is sizzling with temperatures touching around 50 degrees Celsius. The country is experiencing one of the worst summers. But as people are waiting for rains, a cyclone is likely to hit Gujarat and Maharashtra. A heavy rainfall warning has been issued in parts of Gujarat due to depression in the Arabian Sea. The cyclone is 300 kilometres off the country’s west coast and will be closest to Gujarat’s Saurashtra and Kutch on June 13-14. The cyclone while not hitting the state of Maharashtra is likely to result in gusty winds and turbulent sea.
