Diya Movie is 2018 bilingual horror film directed by vijay and produced lyca productions. this film stars sai pallavi and naga shourya in lead roles with veronika arora as the title character. the music was composed by sam cs in editing done by anthony and cinematography by nirav shah. This film released in telugu as kanam was released on 27 april 2018. This plot revolves thulasi(saipallavi) and krishna(naga shourya). thulasi gets pregnant because of krishna at age 19 but her family decides to abort the child after five years they get married but thulasi is not happy because of their past later krishna explains to go past and soon she comes out of pain and starts leading a hapy life.The truth happening around thulasi and krishna unborn girl diya(veronika arora) has alwys been all along invisibly. when krishnas father comes to meet krishna the next day found dead.
One day krishna gets a call from the construction site and leaves without telling thulasi. she panics and calls him but he hangs up whe he reaches his site, she save him just time from a crane carrying a huge block about to hit him.the next day krishna os gone thulasi is worried and keeps searching him.but he finds she met with an accident and is unconscious so he takes her to hospital where try to revive her heart.the doctors are able to successfully revive thulasi, and tears roll from eyes and she is happy she finally met diya.the doctor says thulasi is pregnant. the movie ends with a message about abortion.
