Indian Railways has started 'Meri Saheli' campaign to provide security to women passengers in trains. For this, a women wing of the Railway Police Force has been prepared, which will provide security along with asking the movement of women in trains. This will also reduce the crimes committed with women during the journey.

भारतीय रेलवे ने ट्रेनों में महिला यात्रियों को सुरक्षा प्रदान करने के लिए 'मेरी सहेली' अभियान की शुरुआत की है. इसके लिए रेलवे पुलिस बल की महिला विंग को तैयार किया गया है, जो ट्रेनों में महिलाओं का हाल-चाल पूछने के साथ सुरक्षा प्रदान करेंगी. इससे यात्रा के दौरान महिलाओं के साथ होने वाले अपराधों में भी कमी आएगी.
