The economic slowdown due to the coronavirus pandemic has forced Durga puja organisers to scale down celebrations due to a lack of sponsorship. Not just small ones, the bigger ones have also curtailed their budget by nearly 30 per cent to 50 per cent, mostly compromising on decor, showcasing of themes, and flamboyance too.
