Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the event on Thursday. PM started his address in Bengali. The PM said that the power of devotion is such that I am not in Delhi but in Bengal. When the blessings of Mother Durga, the whole country becomes Bengal. The PM said that people from the land of Bengal have served Mother Bharti with weapons and scriptures.

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने गुरुवार को इस कार्यक्रम को संबोधित किया. पीएम ने अपने संबोधन की शुरुआत बंगाली भाषा में की. पीएम ने कहा कि भक्ति की शक्ति ऐसी है कि मैं दिल्ली नहीं बल्कि बंगाल में ही हूं. जब मां दुर्गा का आशीर्वाद हो तो पूरा देश ही बंगाल हो जाता है. पीएम ने कहा कि बंगाल की धरती से निकले लोगों ने शस्त्र और शास्त्रों से मां भारती की सेवा की है.
