After the demise of Ram Vilas Paswan, for the first time, LJP national president Chirag Paswan held a press conference in the state office. On one hand he praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his works. On the other hand, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the Bihar government and top officials lashed out at him. He said that Nitish Kumar's victory would be a defeat for Bihar. On this occasion, several party leaders including Raju Tiwari, Surajbhan Singh were present. After this Chirag left for election campaign.

रामविलास पासवान के निधन के बाद पहली बार लोजपा के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष चिराग पासवान प्रदेश कार्यालय में प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस की.जहाँ एक तरफ प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी और उनके कामों की जमकर तारीफ की.वहीं दूसरी तरफ मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार और बिहार सरकार और आला अधिकारियों पर जमकर बरसे.उन्होंने कहा कि नीतीश कुमार की जीत बिहार के लिए हार होगी.इस मौके पर राजू तिवारी, सूरजभान सिंह सहित कई पार्टी के नेता मौजूद रहे.इसके बाद चिराग चुनावी यात्रा पर रवाना हो गए.
