Conservation group WWF Australia plans to use drones to distribute seeds in bushland areas devastated by recent fires, in a project that organisers hope will also double the population of koalas. Each day the aircraft will scatter about 40,000 seeds for plant species including Eucalyptus trees, which koalas depend on since their leaves are the main part of the animals’ diet.
