With just two weeks to go until the U.S. presidential elections,... Democratic nominee Joe Biden is reportedly in the lead in key battleground states.
Based on polling data,...the Wall Street Journal reported Monday that Biden has picked up 226 electoral votes,... almost double that of President Trump, who has 125 electoral votes.
It also added Trump will need to win states with a high number of electoral votes - Florida and Texas.
The road to the White House requires winning 270 of the 538 electoral votes.
Despite these developments, President Trump said that he will claim victory in the upcoming election with his party winning a majority in the Senate and House of Representatives.
