The Maharashtra Government On September 30 Extended The Lockdown Imposed To Contain The Spread Of The Novel Coronavirus Till October 31. However, Hotels, food courts, restaurants & bars will be allowed to operate from October 5 with 50 per cent capacity. A separate Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) will be issued by the Tourism department for necessary precautions to be taken while operating these establishments. Maharashtra Government has decided to keep schools and colleges shut for another month. Schools, colleges and educational institutes and coaching centres will remain closed till October 31, 2020.
