Today is the third day of Sharadiya Navratri, on the third day i.e. Tritiya is worshiped in the third form of mother, Chandraghanta is the third form of mother Durga, i.e. mother Chandraghanta is being worshiped in temples today. He took incarnation to protect the religion on the earth and to the Asuras. This form of Maa Durga has special recognition.

आज शारदीय नवरात्र का तीसरा दिन है, तीसरे दिन यानि की तृतीया को मां के तीसरे स्वरूप की पूजा की जाती है,मां दुर्गा का तीसरा स्वरुप चंद्रघंटा है,यानि की आज मंदिरों में मां चंद्रघंटा की पूजा अर्चना की जा रही है।मां चंद्रघंटा ने पृथ्वी पर धर्म की रक्षा और असुरों का संहार करने के लिए अवतार लिया था. मां दुर्गा के इस रूप की विशेष मान्यता है.
