A major political row has erupted over the Congress' decision to field former president of the Aligarh Muslim University Students' Union, Maskoor Ahmad Usmani from a seat in Darbhanga district in the upcoming Assembly elections in Bihar. Usmani gained media attention back in 2018 when a portrait of Pakistan founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah was found in a hall of the varsity. Today, during Dangal, a heated debate sparked between BJP spokesperson, Sambit Patra and RJD spokesperson Mritunjay Tiwari.
