France restaurants slam 'absurd' Covid curfew

"It's an absurd situation, it has to stop!" French restaurant owners fire back at new anti-Covid measures by the French government, which is set to impose a curfew in Paris and eight other cities from Saturday. France has seen a sharp surge in new cases since the start of August, while the daily death toll has risen slightly.
