Aakash Chopra started off by stating that CSK have kept themselves alive in the tournament with their win against SRH. He said that the Men in Yellow have resurrected a campaign which almost seemed to be over. "Till yesterday they were saying 'ek tha CSK', now they are saying 'CSK zinda hai'. The result for which we all had prayed for with all our hearts has happened, nothing against SRH but it was necessary for CSK to win to instil life into the tournament." said Aakash Chopra.
चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स, शुरूआती के सात में से पांच मुकाबले क्या हार गयी. लोगों ने मजाक उड़ाना शुरू कर दिया. कोई चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स को बुड्ढो की फ़ौज बताने लगे तो कोई धोनी को ही हार का असली जिम्मेदार बताने लगे. मतलब ये हुआ कि जिसके मन में जो आया. वो बोल दिया. पर आलोचक ये नहीं देखते हैं कि किस वजह से टीम हारी है. कहाँ कमी रह गयी थी? क्या सिर्फ धोनी की वजह से ही टीम हारी है. तमाम बातें होती है. पर धोनी की वजह से ही टीम को हार मिली है. ये कहना गलत है. तमाम आलोचनाओं को करारा जवाब देते हुए हैदराबाद के खिलाफ शानदार जीत हासिल की. 20 रनों से चेन्नई ने हैदराबाद को हराया. और इस हार के बाद पूर्व क्रिकेटर आकाश चोपड़ा ने आलोचकों को करारा जवाब दिया है.
