Manny’s Cafeteria & Delicatessen is a Jewish deli in Chicago’s South Loop famous for its corned beef sandwiches. The deli is known for its Jewish food, including pastrami, latkes, and matzo ball soup. Founded more than 75 years ago, Manny’s has been passed down through four generations of the Raskin family, which continues to own and operate it. Pre-COVID, Manny’s would go through about 1,000 pounds of corned beef a day. It’s frequented often by celebrities and politicians, with President Barack Obama, President Bill Clinton, and Mayor Lori Lightfoot all having made multiple visits.
