One-horned baby rhinos given a new lease of life in Indian wildlife rehab centre
  • 4 years ago
The Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation in the northeastern Indian state of Assam is giving a group of baby rhinos a new lease of life. The young animals were rescued after heavy seasonal rains that started in May inundated more than 80 per cent of the Kaziranga National Park, where most of the world’s last remaining one-horned rhinos live. Staff at the conservation centre were seen on September 5, 2020, taking care of baby rhinos until they are ready to go back into the wild.
