The central procession of Chehlum which started from Nishtar Park has peacefully ended.

On the occasion of Chehlum, 1403 personnel of Security Division performed their duties in the procession, majalis and other sensitive places.

90 snipers of SSU were also stationed at strategic positions of the main procession route.

300 SSU commandos served as Additional IG Karachi’s reserve force.

On the special instructions of Additional IG Karachi Ghulam Nabi Memon and DIG Security and Emergency Services Division Maqsood Ahmed, a comprehensive security plan was prepared on the occasion of Chehlum Hazrat Imam Hussain and Shuhad e Karbala.
