Earlier this week, an English journalist tweeted a picture of a gigantic pile of root vegetables. The carrots had seemingly been dumped at the Goldsmiths college campus in London. His mentions filled with funny answers: one person even said that it might be all that's left from "a lot of snowmen.".But later that day, the University's twitter account confirmed that it's actually an art installation from an MFA student.[The carrots are] a site-specific intervention exploring some of the tensions in visibility between the rural and the city, Pérez Evans,Artist. He said that he was inspired by the "dumping" protests that have taken place in France and Spain. He has also confirmed that the carrots would have been otherwise discarded by retailers. Some students complained, but others just grabbed a couple of carrots to take home and eat, because, hey, it's college
