The 25-year-old rapper called out Cameron over his handling of the case of Breonna Taylor, a black woman killed by police in March in a no-knock warrant on her apartment. Cameron was widely criticized for his handling of the Taylor case which saw only one cop involved in her death charged with wanton endangerment for the bullets that went into the wall of her neighbor's home. None of the officers were charged with her death. Cameron, a Republican and the state's first black AG, has acknowledged that he did not recommend homicide charges for the officers involved, adding that the grand jury had the responsibility to bring additional charges if it believed they were warranted. The Kentucky governor, Louisville's mayor and even a member of the grand jury itself called for the proceedings to be released, increasing the pressure on Cameron, whom President Donald Trump has praised as a rising star in the party.
