Almost three months after the horrific Galwan Valley clash between the Indian soldiers and the Chinese People’s Liberation Army along the Line of Control, a memorial has been built near the international border remembering the 20 Indian brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation. The names of the 20 martyred soldiers have been inscribed on the war memorial in Eastern Ladakh.

पूर्वी लद्दाख की गलवान घाटी मई से ही भारत और चीन के बीच तनाव की गवाह बनने लगी थी लेकिन 15 जून की आधी रात वह 20 भारतीय जवानों के खून से सन गई। देश की सीमा की रक्षा करने के लिए तैनात जवानों पर डंडे-पत्थरों से हमला किया गया जिसमें ये वीर शहीद हो गए। उस घटना को तीन महीने से ज्यादा हो चुके हैं लेकिन जवानों की शहादत किसी को भूली नहीं है। अब उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि देने के लिए लद्दाख में एक स्मारक भी तैयार किया गया है।
