As of Wednesday, South Korea delivered around three quarters of its second emergency relief fund to eligible business owners.
The government had been aiming to distribute as much of the fund as possible before the Chuseok holiday began.
Some 1-point-7 billion U.S. dollars have been distributed to around 1-point-8 billion people.
That includes owners of bars, restaurants, and gyms who were adversely affected by the outbreak.
Freelancers who qualify for the assistance also received around 400 U.S. dollars each.
One can apply for the support during Chuseok, but the money will be processed after the holiday ends.
