Human rights organization Amnesty International on Tuesday announced that it is ceasing its operations in India. The NGO further claimed that it was stopping its work because Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led BJP government has frozen its bank accounts, which comes as the latest action against the Human right group for raising concern about the rights violations in India.
