Botswana’s President, Mokgweetsi Masisi has been accused of seeing to the arrests of journalists and members of the opposition. Some are said to have even fled the country. Opposition activist Resego Kgosidintsi was arrested and released a day later. It is led activists to say that the president is hell-bent on restricting freedom of expression.
