United Nations needs reforms: PM Modi in UNGA address | Watch full speech

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the United Nations needs reforms during his address at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). The PM made the speech for the General Debate in the 75th Session of the General Assembly.

PM Modi said that India is the world's largest democracy with 18 per cent of the global population. He asked that how long will India have to wait to become a part of the UN's decision-making process.

PM Modi was scheduled as the first speaker at 6:30 pm (NY Time: 9 am). The theme of the 75th UNGA is 'The future we want, the United Nations we need, reaffirming our collective commitment to multilateralism - confronting the Covid-19 through effective multilateral action'.
