Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey has taken VRS just five months before retirement. Pandey, the senior Indian Police Service officer, has accepted the VRS application by the Governor. SK Singhal has been given the charge of DGP in place of Gupteshwar Pandey. Suddenly their VRS is the subject of discussion all over the state. There is speculation about IPS Pandey going into politics.

बिहार के डीजीपी गुप्तेश्वर पांडेय ने रिटायरमेंट के पांच महीने पहले ही वीआरएस ले लिया है। भारतीय पुलिस सेवा के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी पांडेय की वीआरएस की अर्जी राज्यपाल ने स्वीकार कर ली है. गुप्तेश्वर पांडेय की जगह एस के सिंघल को डीजीपी का चार्ज दिया गया है. अचानक उनका वीआरएस लेना पूरे राज्य में चर्चा का विषय बना हुआ है. आईपीएस पांडेय के राजनीति में जाने की अटकलें लगाई जा रही हैं.
