Eight opposition members of the Rajya Sabha, who were suspended on Monday over the chaos in the Upper House when farm bills were passed, continued their sit-in protest in the lawns of Parliament. On Tuesday morning, Deputy Chairman Harivansh met the protesting MPs as he brought them tea. Behind the MPs and the Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman were placards hanging on strings with slogans in support of farmers. In a video posted by news agency ANI, the Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman is seen speaking to the MPs and offering them tea after their overnight sit-in against suspension from the House.
