Thai protesters install commemorative 'People's Plaque'

Thai student activists install a commemorative "People's Plaque" onto the paved area adjacent to Bangkok's historic Sanam Luang field located next to the Grand Palace. The newly installed plaque is a reference to an original brass one which mysteriously disappeared in 2017 -- after King Maha Vajiralongkorn took power. It commemorated the end of royal absolutism in 1932 after a revolution that transitioned the kingdom into a constitutional monarchy.
