India has been ranked at the 116th position in the latest edition of the World Bank's annual Human Capital Index that benchmarks key components of human capital across countries. However, India's score increased to 0.49 from 0.44 in 2018, as per the Human Capital Index report released by the World Bank on Wednesday.

विश्व बैंक के ताजा वार्षिक ह्यूमन कैपिटल इंडेक्स यानी मानव पूंजी सूचकांक में भारत को 116वां स्थान मिला है। इस सूचकांक से विभिन्न देशों में मानव पूंजी से जुड़े विभिन्न पहलुओं के बारे में जानकारी मिलती है। विश्व बैंक की ओर से बुधवार को जारी रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक 2018 के मुकाबले भारत के स्कोर में सुधार देखने को मिला है। 2018 में भारत का स्कोर 0.44 रहा था, जो हालिया रिपोर्ट में बढ़कर 0.49 हो गया है।
