Security beefed up at Bachchan’s residence after statement over Bollywood drug nexus

Veteran actress and MP Jaya Bachchan’s statement on Bollywood’s drug nexus in reply to MP Ravi Kishan in Rajya Sabha has created furor outside the industry. Now, security has beefed up outside Jalsa, the Bachchans' iconic bungalow in Juhu. The police called it a precautionary measure Jaya Bachchan on Tuesday argued for government support to the entertainment industry and slammed those tarnishing its image.
