Mexico's long-awaited symbolic raffle for the presidential jet was held on Tuesday.
Mexico's President had long criticized the unnecessary luxury of having the plane and had previously planned to raffle it off, but switched to a symbolic raffle as many citizens saw no practical use for a huge jet.
Each of the winners of the national lottery will instead receive prizes of about one million dollars.
The president of Mexico says the money made from selling the tickets will fund the country's medical services.
"We are going to have more than ninety-four million U.S. dollars for the purchase of medical equipment."
The draw on Tuesday was made during an elaborate ceremony, and was broadcast live on television.
