The dramatic video, filmed in the city of Mudanjiang in Heilongjiang Province on September 13, shows a huge ball of fire bursting out of a residential building.
According to reports, the windows were shattered while the lifts and doors were damaged.
The property management staff switched off the gas valve and firefighters carried children and elderly people out of the building.
No casualties were reported and the case is being investigated.
