In order to promote sports, a new cricket Facility was inaugrated and dedicated to the local youth of Uri under aegis of Kalapahar Brigade at Uri.The facility was constructed with an aim to provide sports platform to young and talented youth of Uri. The event was aimed to strengthen the sense of belongingness with awam and develop the spirit of brotherhood and to promote sports among local populace.
जम्मू कश्मीर में लॉकडाउन के बाद अब हालत धीरे धीरे हालत सुधर रहे हैं, जम्मू कश्मीर में तैनात सेना के जवान न सिर्फ आतंकवादियों से लोहा लेती है बल्कि स्थानिय स्तर पर लोगों को प्रेरित भी करती है जिससे की युवा और नौजवान आतंक की ओर न जाकर एक आम नागरिक बनने की ओर कदम बढ़ाए, इसी बीच उरी की कालापहाड़ ब्रिगेड ने खेलों को बढ़ावा देने के साथ-साथ स्थानिय प्रतिभा को आगे लाने के लिए एक क्रिकेट टूर्नामेंट का आयोजन किया।
