A Chinese beauty clinic paid an employee's £700 compensation fee in coins after they resigned.

In the video, shot in Zizhong County in Sichuan Province on September 14, two buckets of coins were delivered by a three-wheeler to the woman named Zhang at the labour arbitration department.

Zhang thought the beauty clinic used this way to humiliate her and refused to accept the coins. A manager named Li said: "Coins are also money. We did not humiliate her. There were both coins and cash."

Zhang and the beauty clinic are still negotiating, reports said.
