Madan Sharma, retired Navy officer who was beaten up allegedly by Shiv Sena workers in Mumbai, met Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari at Raj Bhavan on Tuesday, He demanded that the Uddhav Thackeray government be dismissed."I told him of the incident. Sections under which accused were booked are weak. The Governor assured he'll take action on my memorandum. I demanded that state govt be dismissed, President Rule should be imposed. He assured he'll speak to centre," said the former Navy officer after meeting Koshyari.

महज एक कार्टून शेयर करने को लेकर शिवसेना कार्यकर्ताओं ने पूर्व नौसेना अधिकारी मदन शर्मा को जमकर पीटा था। इस मामले ने तूल पकड़ लिया। मंगलवार को मदन शर्मा महाराष्ट्र के राज्यपाल भगत सिंह कोश्यारी से मिले और उनसे न्याय की मांग की। राज्यपाल से मिलकर निकले मदन शर्मा ने कहा कि उद्धव ठाकरे को हटाकर महाराष्ट्र में राष्ट्रपति शासन लगा देना चाहिए। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि उनके ऊपर भाजपा में होने का आरोप लगाकर पीटा गया था, लेकिन अब आज से वह बीजेपी और आरएसएस के साथ हैं।
