Hindi definitely not unifying language, cannot be national language: Karti Chidambaram

Reacting to Home Minister Amit Shah's comment on Hindi being a unifying language in the country, Congress MP Karti Chidambaram on Tuesday said Hindi is not the national language and that states should be allowed function within their identity and preserve their identity.
