Rafale jets: Inducted, locked and loaded into the IAF
  • 4 years ago
The first fleet of Rafale jets was formally inducted into the 'Golden Arrows' squadron of the IAF at the Ambala Air Force station in presence of a galaxy of dignitaries including French Defence Minister Florence Parly, Chief of Defence Staff Gen Bipin Rawat and Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria. With a complete ritual welcome, the Rafale squadron has come to life.

The Ambala Air Force base is the oldest base of the Indian Airforce. The first squadron came in 1919 and the latest squadron comes in 2020 now 101 years later. This is the top focus in the special edition of Battle Cry this week.
