Events:United Way of Broome County Color CeremonyGuests are welcome to attend a static display of 2,977 flags that represent and honor those who lost their lives during the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon. This event kicks off the Day of Caring events. TIME: 8 a.m. and later at 7:30 p.m. LOCATION: United Way of Broome County. 101 S. Jensen Rd. Vestal, N. Y.9/11 Red Cross Blood DriveA blood drive held in conjunction with the 19th Annual Mitzvah Marathon, a signature program of the Rohr Chabad Center for Jewish Student Life at Binghamton University. The drive honors those who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001.
