Interim Congress president Sonia Gandhi announced a major organisational reshuffle on Friday and constituted a six-member special committee to assist her in organisational and operational matters. Sonia Gandhi also reconstituted the Congress Working Committee, Central Election Authority.

జాతీయ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీలో భారీ మార్పులు చోటుచేసుకున్నాయి. పార్టీ అత్యున్నత నిర్ణాయక మండలి 'కాంగ్రెస్ వర్కింగ్ కమిటీ(సీడబ్ల్యూసీ)'తోపాటు కేంద్ర ఎన్నికల కమిటీల్లో మార్పు చేర్పులు జరిగాయి. గులాం నబీ ఆజాద్ సహా పలువురు కీలక నేతలను జనరల్ సెక్రటరీ పదవుల నుంచి తప్పించారు.
