Taken from their families under Belgian colonial rule, 'children of sin' demand justice

Born with a white father and a black mother in the Belgian Congo, they were considered "children of sin", taken away from their family, raised in a convent, abandoned at independence. Today, five mixed-race women are demanding justice from the Belgian state, filing a lawsuit for crimes against humanity.
